So after seeing the lovely Jade Mayhead do a series of posts on her makeup collection, I decided to share mine with the world! If you haven’t already seen, I have a Makeup Master Post where I add every single brush or product that I buy for both my own purposes and your ~enjoyment~ so if you ever feel nosy and want to see if I’ve done a full review, they all get linked there.
Yes I know everyone else has their reviews up already and I’m only a week late to the party.
But, it’s better late than never.
In my defence, I think this is the first item I’ve ever reviewed within a month of release so CUT ME SOME SLACK!
So my skin is in desperate need of help and so desperately so that I ordered a tonne of all natural products, paid for next day delivery and all that jazz.
It’s that bad.
So after a poll on Twitter, it seemed people wanted me to talk about 10 things that can cheer you up or just things that cheer me up. I’ve decided to go with things that cheer me up in the hope that they help you too! I’ve done 5 because I was struggling to think of 10 without repeating myself or running out of ideas.
There may be some boring sciencey spiel here so bear with me but hey, if science says it works?
Jeffree Star (for those who don’t know) is an American beauty influencer who has his own line of cosmetics, the most famous product being his debut launch of the Velour Liquid Lipsticks.
These lipsticks were EVERYWHERE at one point and I don’t know anyone who didn’t buy one at the time.
So I’ve seen a few people do these anti-hauls and I wanted to jump on the bandwagon so here we go!
Basically, this is a list of products I don’t want to buy and I’ll give my reasons etc but as a slight disclaimer, I don’t have anything against these brands, I just don’t think the items are worth it or will appeal to me. I’ll do 5 products this month and hopefully carry this on at the beginning of every month.
When Jeffree Star announced that he’d be doing a collaboration with Jouer Cosmetics, I think the world was shocked to the core.
This is THE Jeffree Star that has never done a collab and don’t use affiliate codes (bar Jouer).
But low and behold, there was now a #jouerxjeffree hashtag and I was LIVING.
First of all, Happy September!
Today’s post is going to be a review of a few items I bought from Primark’s Cotton Candy Makeup Range. My local Primark only had a few of the products in so I will try a different store very soon and try to pick up some more items to try out and review.
