A couple of weeks ago I made an order from Revolution Beauty’s website while they had an up to 70% off sale on. I bought some Freedom individual eyeshadows to fill an empty palette, some lipsticks for a giveaway, the Retro Luxe Lipstick Vault and this Life On The Dancefloor Palette.
Anyone who’s known me a little while will remember my old mantra:
I will not become a Morphe girl. I won’t jump on the bandwagon of buying Morphe palettes and brushes and kiss the ground that Morphe walks on!
But this is now my third Morphe palette in the space of 4 months and I have no plans on stopping buying Morphe palettes any time soon.
Autumn is around halfway complete so I’ve decided now is a good time to post my top 3 eyeshadow palettes for autumn.
Now I’m basing my label of ‘Autumn Eyeshadow’ off the basis that autumn usually is the season for warm tone colours like reds and oranges so that’s why these three palettes have made the list. They are great palettes for their warm tone colours but they are not exclusively warm tone palettes.
Never in my life did I ever think I would end up writing a post to justify spending £37 on a single eyeshadow palette.
This just doesn’t happen.
But here we are. I decided to buy that god damn Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette that everyone loves and raves about.
£37 for one item.
Yes I know everyone else has their reviews up already and I’m only a week late to the party.
But, it’s better late than never.
In my defence, I think this is the first item I’ve ever reviewed within a month of release so CUT ME SOME SLACK!
So I’ve seen a few people do these anti-hauls and I wanted to jump on the bandwagon so here we go!
Basically, this is a list of products I don’t want to buy and I’ll give my reasons etc but as a slight disclaimer, I don’t have anything against these brands, I just don’t think the items are worth it or will appeal to me. I’ll do 5 products this month and hopefully carry this on at the beginning of every month.
First of all, Happy September!
Today’s post is going to be a review of a few items I bought from Primark’s Cotton Candy Makeup Range. My local Primark only had a few of the products in so I will try a different store very soon and try to pick up some more items to try out and review.
So yesterday I was in Cardiff, Wales and my jaw almost dropped and shattered on the floor when I saw the size of their Superdrug Beauty Shop.
My parents and sister went across to the Lego Store (boring) and I wandered into Superdrug in an absolute daze.
