Today I want to talk about 5 products that really did not work for me. I’m usually pretty positive on my blog and only really post about products I actually like but today? I’m in a pretty bad mood so I need to moan about something.
You may remember that recently I fell in love with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, despite it being too yellow toned for my skin. I loved the coverage and formula on my skin and how it gave my skin a gorgeous glow.
So as mentioned in one of my previous posts, I’m a Media Makeup and Hair student and this means I get to work on a variety of different people who, obviously, have different skin tones. This means that in my kit, I need a variety of different foundations that will suit the other girls in my class.
So after seeing the lovely Jade Mayhead do a series of posts on her makeup collection, I decided to share mine with the world! If you haven’t already seen, I have a Makeup Master Post where I add every single brush or product that I buy for both my own purposes and your ~enjoyment~ so if you ever feel nosy and want to see if I’ve done a full review, they all get linked there.
So today I’m here to talk about the job most make-up lovers find really tedious.
Most of us avoid it in the hope that the issue will go away.
I see you blushing in shame!
As a beauty blogger on a budget, I have been trying out different drugstore foundations and concealers to find an every day alternative to my N07 Beautifully Matte Light Foundation and Match Made Concealer. As someone who is currently not earning, £14.50 for a foundation and £7 for a concealer each month is totally unfeasible so I’ve been trying different foundations and concealers to find something I can use constantly and not put myself out of pocket when it comes to replenishing it.
